Seeing a dynamic, experienced, and organized property manager to lead a high-performing team and direct day-to-day operations of a lively 222-unit community with both townhomes and a 6-story tower building in Takoma Park, MD (Prince George’s County).
$70,000 to $76,000 annual salary (depending on experience) + bonus plan incentive up to $4,000 annually. Excellent benefits, including health, dental, vision, and supplemental options (single and family), effective on the 1st of the month following or coinciding with 30 days of full-time employment. 401(k) plan with generous employer contribution. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Resident Management:
- Develop and maintain a leasing plan for marketing vacant units.
- Addressing resident inquiries, complaints, and concerns.
- Enforcing lease terms and managing evictions if necessary.
- Rent Collection and Financial Management:
- Collecting rent payments.
- Preparing budgets and financial reports.
- Ensuring timely payment of property-related expenses.
- Property Maintenance and Repairs:
- Oversee routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance services.
- Managing relationships with contractors and service providers.
- Communication with Property Owners
- Providing regular updates on property status.
- Advising on property investments and improvements.
- Acting as a liaison between owners and residents.
- Safety and Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure team members operate with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
- Hold monthly safety meetings.
- Emergency Response:
- Managing urgent issues, such as leaks, fires, or other emergencies when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for an individual with at least 3 years of (recent) experience in property management, incl. 1 year of supervisory experience as a property manager or assistant manager leasing a team of 3 or more.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate during the interview process

- proven success in leasing and marketing strategies
- amazing customer service skills, including verbal and written communication skills
- experience with contract and vendor management, incl. bidding processes
- leadership and supervisory skills, incl. the ability to build and sustain strong relationships with residents, team members, vendors, decision makers etc.
Additional Desirable Qualifications:
- Bi-lingual – English and Spanish
- Experience with OneSite / RealPage Management Software
- Industry-related education, such as ARM® certification from the Institute of Real Estate Managment or a similar designation.
